Orleans Home Ask the Commish Juror with Disabilities Jury Pay Length of Service Postponements and Excusals Qualifications Reporting For Jury Duty Juror Numbers		POSTPONEMENTS AND EXCUSALS
		The Office of the Commissioner of Jurors will grant one-time postponements upon request. Excusals are granted only for medical reasons, supported by a doctor’s statement, or for hardship reasons other than loss of income. Requests for excusal due to extreme financial hardship requires documentation. All other requests for excusal have to be presented to the presiding Judge in open court for consideration.
